Field Stream feb 1977

Honda CT-125, CT-90, CT-70. trail masters. mountain climbers. back packers. This trio of rough-and-ready Honda trail bikes will keep you going strong, even when the back roads run out.

All are powered by Honda-tough four-stroke overhead-cam engines. Transmissions are geared for slow tracking and mountain climbing, with a super-tough five-speed constant-mesh gearbox on the all-new CT-125, a special dual-range four-speed transmission on the CT-90 and three speeds on the CT-70. Both the CT-90 and CT-70 have an automatic clutch for easy riding. Semi-knobby tines make for sure footing all around.

These are machines for exploring nature, not exploiting it. They’re rugged, yet quiet and mannerly, with CISDA-approved spark arrestor/mufflers and heat shields. And when the adventures are over, all three are ready for the road. Of special interest on the new CT-125 are the extra-large luggage rack, tubular steel brush guards on handlebars and frame, and a comfortable contoured seat suitable for all-day rides.

The Honda CT’s. Camping, fishing and hunting companions. Each one portable in your motor home, camper or pickup. So before you get back to nature, get down to your Honda dealer’s. He’ll send you on your way with the best companion of all, a Honda CT.
